Associate Pastor, St. Charles Borromeo, Tacoma, WA
Fr. Kyle Mangloña is currently the associate pastor of St. Charles Borromeo in Tacoma, Washington.
He is the second of two sons to Joseph and Barbara Mangloña, who moved to Washington from the island of Guam in the late 1980’s. His home parish is Our Lady Queen of Heaven in Spanaway.
Fr. Mangloña grew up in Graham, Washington and entered Bishop White college seminary at Gonzaga University in 2008, earning degrees in philosophy and history. In 2012, he was sent by Archbishop Sartain to the Pontifical North American College in Rome to complete his priestly formation.
Fr. Mangloña was present in St. Peter’s Square for the election of Pope Francis. He was ordained to the priesthood in June of 2016 at St. James Cathedral in Seattle.
In his spare time, Fr. Mangloña likes to ski, play the piano, and watch Mariner’s baseball.
