Director of Quo Vadis Days Portland
Fr. Theodore Lange is a priest for the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon and was ordained a priest by Archbishop John G. Vlazny June 13, 2009. Theodore is the fourth of five children, growing up in Salem, Oregon attending St. Joseph Catholic Church. After High School, he attended community college playing baseball and completing an Associates of Science degree. He felt the call beginning and took some time to discern the Lord’s will asking Our Lady to give him the strength to say “yes” to the Father’s will. While discerning his vocation, he worked for Impac. Inc. and then for one year as a youth minister at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Eugene Oregon. With the help and guidance of great priests, Fr. Theodore entered Mt. Angel seminary in January of 2002. After finishing his philosophical studies, he was sent to Rome for his theological studies in 2004. Fr. Theodore was ordained a deacon on the Feast of St. Francis, October 4, 2007 and worked at Christ the King Parish in Milwaukie, OR on pastoral year. He is currently assigned as the parochial vicar for Shepherd of the Valley in Central Point, OR and Our Lady of Fatima in Shady Cove, OR.
Fr. Theodore enjoys playing sports, hiking, painting, poetry, and spending time with family and friends.
