The Diocese of Yakima will be having a Quo Vadis Days camp in Cle Elm, WA on July 29-31, 2019.
2019 Yakima Quo Vadis Days Camp
2019 Theme – “Take up your cross and follow me”
The vocational discernment retreat is led by the seminarians of the Diocese of Yakima. The retreat is designed for boys ages 14-18. At Quo Vadis Days the seminarians and priests will walk with these young men and confront the identities offered by the world as well as helping them become conscious about the deeper desire within them to pursue God. The goal is that our young men may know their true identity as beloved sons, adopted by God the Father, that they may be inspired to take on their cross as Jesus did and journey with him so that ultimately they can discern the will of the Father in their lives through the grace and movements of the Holy Spirit.
The retreat will include: time for personal and communal prayer, adoration, soccer, basketball, ultimate Frisbee, capture the flag, talks and vocational testimonies by the seminarians, and an opportunity to free themselves from the noisiness of the world and encounter Christ in the beauty of nature as he asks them: Where are you going?
